GREG THORNTON

Born to a Norwegian mother and an Irish father, Greg grew up south of Boston, Massachusetts - USA in an Irish/Italian neighborhood.

His interests have always revolved around social actives such as european football, mountain biking, swimming and the martial arts.

 His current hobbies include reading, running, learning languages, and teaching English.

Greg’s teaching career started in New Hampshire, USA for a public school where he taught children ages 12 to 14.

After teaching for 2 years, he then accepted a position in Budapest, Hungary to work as an English liaison and educator for a financial firm.

After spending a year in Budapest, Greg returned to the United States to teach for a private, international boarding school.

It was through this school, that he was later given the opportunity to live with a host family in Lombardy, Italy and volunteer at the local high school.

Along with education, Greg has prior experience in the fields of public relations, sales, marketing, media, finance, real estate, information technology, and restaurant services.

He holds an advanced degree in Business and another in Information Technology and presently resides near Lago Di Garda.
